James C. Miles, 76, of Byhalia, MS passed away on March 15, 2023. Mr. Miles was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Harriett Miles; brothers: Purvis, Raymond, and JL; and one sister, Flora. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Miles; son, James Miles(Angie); son, Daniel Miles(Angela); son, John Miles; grandchildren: Morgan, Brittanni, Summer, Madison, Edgely, Max, and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Miles was born on January 22, 1947 in Dubbs, MS. He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked as a truck driver for most of his working life. He was a true country boy at heart who loved life. In his free time, he enjoyed watching Dallas Cowboys and Alabama Crimson Tide football. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at West TN Veterans Cemetery where military funeral honors will be rendered.
