Geneva Palmertree

Geneva Palmertree, 85, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2022. Mrs. Palmertree was born on September 13, 1937 in Olive Branch, MS. She is a 1955 graduate of Olive Branch High School. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and a longtime member of Whitehaven Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother and her greatest joy in life was her family. In her free time, she enjoyed crafty things such as knitting, crocheting, and was a master seamstress. She was also a really good cook. Her family and those that knew and loved her will miss her dry sense of humor. Mrs. Palmertree was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Palmertree; son, Mike Palmertree; parents, Edward and Freda Jones; sister, Brenda Yeager; brother, Chuck Jones; and brother, Monty Jones. She is survived by her daughter-in-law and caretaker, Regina Palmertree; sister, Lena Trusty(Frank); and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch. Mrs. Palmertree’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Harbor Trace of Cordova and Hope Hospice for their compassion and care during her last days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in her honor to Hope Hospice.
