Euel Lee Oliver, 92, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Friday July 20, 2018 at his home. Born November 2, 1925 in Pocola, OK to the late Virgil and Esta Oliver, Mr. Oliver was a U.S. military veteran who served our country in both the Army and the Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Olive Branch and was retired from Roadway Trucking and had driven a total of over four million miles over the span of his career. Mr. Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmye Odell Oliver and four siblings, Derotha Riley, Julian Oliver, Lionel Oliver, and Virginia Mae Oliver. Survivors include his children, Laura Williams (Terry), Iris Denning (Cliff), and Ed Robbins (Patty), four siblings, Frankie Ervin, Lorene Jackson, Levada Storms, and Virgil H. Oliver, and 12 grandchildren including Jessica Levatino (Kyle), Heather Gay (Andrew), Katie Robbins, Olivia Robbins, and Matthew Robbins, 23 great-grandchildren, and 28 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday July 23, 2018 from 12pm until the funeral service begins at 2pm, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch.
