Darlis Patterson Wilson

Darlis Patterson Wilson, 82, of Olive Branch, went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2012 at her home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Monday, January 30, and funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery in Memphis. Born on March 8, 1929 in Anderson County, TN, Darlis married her high school sweetheart, Dewey C. Wilson, on March 22, 1946 and together they raised 2 children. She was a faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church since 1975. Darlis is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dewey; her daughter, Sandy Winston; her son, Steve Wilson and his wife Barbara; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Hubert Patterson; and a host of friends and neighbors.
