Charles Michael “Mike” Purtle, 55, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 25, 2022 at his residence in Southaven, MS. He was born on February 18, 1967 to the Late Charles and Shirley Ann Purtle in Memphis, TN. Mike worked as an aircraft mechanic for Fedex for 35 years. He was avid hunter and fisherman. Mike enjoyed being outdoors any chance he could get. He was a longtime member of HayPatch Hunting Club where he was known as “Buckshot”. Mike was a loving friend to everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Shirley Ann Purtle, and his brother, Richard Brown. Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Donna Purtle; two daughters, Amanda Purtle and Lauren Purtle; two sisters, Sharon Erickson and Deborah Bohne. He also leaves behind a host of: nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Brantley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654.
