Born Dec. 24, 1948, in Greenville, Mississippi to Byron Jefferson and Arlene Knox, Brenda had nine brothers, three sisters, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brenda fell in love with Jimmy, a handsome boy from the neighborhood. They were described as beautiful sweethearts. In 1965, they married and soon started a family. Brenda and Jimmy were blessed with two sons James Scott and Jonathan Brad. They were married for 48 years.
Brenda loved taking care of her family and home. Her interests included cooking, baking, and decorating. She was always on the lookout for new recipes. She also had a knack for sending handwritten letters and cards to her family and friends. She was most proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by two sons, James Scott (Mistie) and Jonathan Brad (Michelle) Crocker; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Jonah (Kathrine), Jessica, Jourdan, and Matthew Crocker; two great-grandchildren, Everleigh Marie and Hadley Kate.
Please join us as we remember Brenda on Nov. 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held at West Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2251 Grady Road, Eupora, Mississippi.
