Bobbie Jean Morris

Bobbie Jean Morris, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Baptist East in Memphis, TN. She was born to the Late Jesse and Annie Ray on June 21, 1929 in Greenville, MS. Bobbie was a graduate of Southside High School where she was member of Angel Flight and the National Honor Society. Bobbie was in the Finance Industry for many years and retired as a Comptroller. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville, TN. Bobbie was a woman of great faith and always trusted in God. She was known for her strength and funny personality. Bobbie enjoyed cooking and entertaining her friends. She was surrounded by loved ones, and was aware of all the outpouring of love from many to whom she had shown care, friendship, and her faith over the years. Bobbie leaves behind her loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ned Morris; her parents, Jessie and Annie Ray, and six siblings. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Longtown Cemetery in Crenshaw, MS. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Baptist Church “General Fund”.
