Bobbie Joyce Freeman, 88, passed away at her home April 26, 2021. She was born January 18, 1933 in Coldwater, Mississippi to Edgar Clark and Undine Lewis Davis. She was a 1950 graduate of Coldwater High School. She enjoyed reading, collecting antiques and dolls. She was a member of Independence United Methodist Church. She was passionate about her work with the United Methodist Women’s Mission Group. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Clark Freeman; three sisters, Mary Davis, Daisy Botsford, and Nellie Brown and a brother, William Davis.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 71 years, Albert G. Freeman; two sons, Wayne (Joann) Freeman and Greg (Marcia) Freeman; grandchildren, Stephanie Myers, William (Crystal) Freeman, Neil Freeman, Jody (Jamie) Freeman, Davis (Amy) Freeman, Melanie (Keith) Ragsdale; thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and two daughters-in-law, Jo Freeman and Brenda Hatton.
A memorial service will be held Saturday May 8th at 11 a.m. at Independence United Methodist Church, 198 Sycamore Road, Independence, Mississippi. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m.
