Ben Clark Williams of Independence, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the age of 74. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on December 22, 1945. His father, Ben W. Williams, and his mother, Doris (Clark) Williams, both of Como, Mississippi, preceded Ben in death.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Williams (Independence, MS); two daughters and their husbands, Bryann (Mark) Jackson of Senatobia, Mississippi, and Amanda (Dennis) Bowen of Memphis, Tennessee; and two granddaughters, Klaire and Emma Jackson of Senatobia, Mississippi.
He is also survived by his brother, Chuck Williams of Grenada, Mississippi and his three sisters, Merry Nichols and Lisa Morten, both of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Kim Hawkins (Andy) of Conway, Arkansas.
Visitation will be December 31, 2019, at 1:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 9290 Hwy. 306, Coldwater, Mississippi 38618, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm.
