Barbara Anita Clark

Barbara Anita Clark, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Anita was born and raised in Memphis, TN. She graduated from Whitehaven High School in 1955. She worked as a data entry clerk, bookkeeper and payroll clerk for the post office. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Emma Clark and dear sister June Marie Clark. She is survived by her sisters; Jean Armstrong, Shirley Lindsey (Joe), Patricia Abbott (Dale) of Arlington, TX, Emily Shackelford (Harold), Janet Russell, Linda Davis, brothers; Edwin (Buddy) Clark, Michael Clark (Cathy) and Tim Clark. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Unity Hospice and the caregivers of Safe and Sound. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 also at Brantley Funeral Home with burial to follow at Autumn Woods cemetery.
