Barbara Lee Brown, 70, passed away at her home December 16, 2021. She was retired from Greenbrook Elementary School, where she loved the children she met as they came through the cafeteria. Ms. Brown was also a member of Highway Holiness Church in Southaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Lois Bowen and a sister, Patsy Sinquefield.
She is survived by her daughter, Brandy Simmons (Scot); grandchildren, Shea Deloach, Justin Patterson, Nathan Patterson, Nick Simmons, Alli Prewitt (Matt) and Andrew Simmons; three great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Ring; brother, Frank Bowen; and a dear friend who was like a sister, Carolyn Worley and six nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lehrton Cemetery, Ruleville, Mississippi.
