Annette Long Brownlee, 85, of Olive Branch passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at home with her family surrounding her. She was born on April 22, 1937 to the Late John Alvis and Mildred Elizabeth Long in Etta, MS. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend she spent her life unselfishly serving the Lord and others. Her kindness was evident to all who met her. Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Ethan Brownlee, Jr.; her parents, John and Mildred Long; her son, Jimmy “Brooks” Brownlee, and her brother, Morris Long. She is survived by two children, Johnny Brownlee (Kathy), Renee Kill (Kyle) and a daughter in law, Cristy Brownlee. Annette also leaves behind five grandchildren: Kaleb Kill, Faith Kill, Emily Brownlee, Bella Brownlee, and Benjamin Brownlee. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Red Banks Baptist Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1521 State Rd 355 Etta, MS 38627.
