Ann Smith

Ann Smith, born in Sumner, MS on August 15, 1940 passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her home in Southaven, MS. She is survived by two children, Victoria Michelle Smith Foth and Charles Michael Smith, three grandchildren Jonathon Michael Smith, Katherine Michelle Smith Pitt, Harley Alyssa Smith along with one brother, Richard Clark (spouse Lucy Clark) of Slate Springs, MS and Betty Alexander (spouse Larry Alexander) of Vardaman, MS. “Ms. Ann,” as she was known by so many, was married to Jerel Louis Smith for 24 years before his death in 2007, and she was retired from Harrah’s Entertainment Corporation. She was also preceded in death by her parents Charles and Pauline Clark of Calhoun City, MS. Visitation Services will be held at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS on Thursday, December 5th from 5 to 8 p.m. A brief service will follow on December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the same location before procession to the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery located on Forest Hill-Irene.
