Roy M. Holman

Greenbush—Roy M. Holman Sr., 69, died August 6, 2012 at an Orono health care facility. He was born Jan 25, 1943 in Plymouth, MA a son of George and Evon (Langille) Holman.

Roy grew up in Greenbush and worked for Fernald Madden for a number of years operating heavy machinery. He also had an auto body shop.

He is survived by 5 children Roy Jr., Ken, Julie, Laura and her husband Earl Ebehart, and Elizabeth; three grandchildren Melonie, Michael, and Lance; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters Nancy Holman and Evonne Melville. He was predeceased by his parents, a son Ricky Lee Holman, grandson Michael Kenneth Holman, and brother Edward “Sonny” Holman.

Family and friends will gather 9AM Saturday August 18, 2012 at 1391 Kirkland Road Old Town for a celebration of his life. In appreciation of Roy’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage P.O. Box 565 Orono, ME 04473
