Patty lived a full life and had many talents. She graduated from Old Town High School, She started her life as an auditor for many years. She bought a camp on Nicatous Lake and became friends with a man named Almond McKenny who taught her how to become a trapper. At that point, she became known as trapper 2 on CB Radio. During this timeframe, she started cooking at Bear Guiding camps, Champion of Maine Logging camps, and she was also requested to be flown into Alaska to cook at the Guiding Camps there. While working for Champion and the cooking camps, she became friends on the CB Radio with White Eagle 1. She soon learned the real name of White Eagle 1 was Ralph Marden. Then soon after working together in the woods they decided to move back to Ralph's house in Harrington in 1991. They created a very successful business together called Marden and Ms. which she was able to run right up until she passed away, and those who started off as clients soon became friends of the family.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Donald and Florence Forbes. She will be sadly missed by her partner of 38 years Ralph and her adopted son, Mike Wickett.
Patty was a big advocate for helping the less fortunate, so instead of sending flowers please give to those in need.
