OLD TOWN—Parrie F. Willette 79, died peacefully with his loving family by his side September 1, 2021. He was born July 18, 1942, in Old Town a son of Albert and Bernice (Desjardins) Willette.
Parrie was a character and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was passionate about everything he undertook and there was never a dull moment. He lived life to the fullest from the early years of skydiving, snowmobiling, and his men’s softball teams to his middle years raising three children, fishing in Labrador, and running his business, and in his later years being a creative artist, and most of all adoring his grandchildren.
He is survived by his “Bride” of 58 years, Linda; sons Parrie Willette II and his wife Lisa, Paul Willette and his wife Louise, and daughter Darcy Willette; five grandchildren Vincent Willette, Joseph Willette, Violet Grimsley, Tylor Harriman, Lacey Treadwell; four great grandchildren Charlie, Cooper, Copeland, and Collins; sisters-in-law Marian Willette and Maggie Willette; special cousins Dickie and Glennie and Kenny and Gail; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Nancy Berry, James Willette and William Willette.
The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to Parrie’s extended family Paul Boutin, Josh McKay, and the Minipi crew. Thank you to Hospice for great care. We are comforted in knowing that “dad” will be greeted by Champ at the Rainbow Bridge.
Per Parrie’s request there will be no formal services. In-lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice
