MILFORD—Mary Lou Friedman, 57, died unexpectedly January 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Bangor December 19, 1956 a daughter of Dana III and Eulalie (Carriere) Lawrence.
Mary Lou was an amazing mother, wife daughter, sister, Nana, and friend. She enjoyed using facebook to stay in contact with those she loved. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, camping, cooking and baking, drawing, playing Bingo, and horses. Time spent with family was cherished, especially time spent spoiling her grandson Elliott. She was employed at the University of Maine for 18 years in the Sawyer Environmental Chemical Lab.
She is survived by her husband Daryl Friedman, her parents Eulalie and Dana Lawrence III, three daughters Missy Dorr and her significant other George Surrette, Wendy Dorr and fiancé Merle Powers, Jr., Lisa Ventry and her husband Jason; grandchildren Jason and Travis Ventry, RJ Barela, Elliott Kalel, an unborn grandchild, and grandfurbaby Trigger; step children Gary Friedmand and his wife Terri, Sarah Friedman, Amanda Friedman and her significant other Marcus Gray; sister Barbara Hafford, special friends Jean and Ed Ketch, Linda Nadeau, Owen and Linda Fuller, Rosie Gulliver, Marianne Lager Klint, and many other special family members. She was predeceased by her former husband and Wendy and Missy’s father Gregory Dorr.
