Kenneth Mishou, 82, passed away surrounded by family on May 22nd 2022. Born November 20th, 1939 to parents Roland and Florice (Stormann) Mishou. He was fondly known as the self-proclaimed “Mayor of Stillwater”. He was a storyteller whose favorite story to tell was having the pleasure to cook for John F Kennedy. His favorite activities included enjoying family gatherings and keeping the land he was born and raised on pristine. His love for his family will continue to carry on. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Roland Mishou and Florice Mishou, a brother Roland “Buddy” Mishou, grandson Blake Mishou and nephew Ronnie Mishou. Survived by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Frances Mishou, Brother Albert Mishou of Orono, 5 children; Donna Comstock and husband Doug of Bangor, Richard Mishou and wife Angela of Old Town, Joseph Mishou and wife Nadine of Milford, Minnie Marquis and husband Robert of Old Town, and Timothy Mishou and wife Kimberly of Greenbush. Grandchildren; Jason Mishou, wife Sarah and children Jason and Jonathan; Derek Mishou, partner Shelley Hicks and children Bradley, Bailey, and Catherine; Megan Marquis, partner Mike Strout and daughter Rhyan; Katherine Mishou; Courtney Potvin, husband Devin and children Xavier, Zack, and Xander; Stephen Comstock and wife Brittney; April Marquis and partner Brian Harris; Cory Marquis, wife Liz and children Myles and Coral; Stephanie Comstock and partner Megan Clement; Brianna Harmon and husband Nick; Zachary Mishou, fiancé Jami O’Clair and daughter Olivia; Brooke Mishou and fiancé Cody Sylvia; Brandi Turner, husband Travis and children Maddison, Kadence, Chloe, Mason, Nolan; Jordan Holmes, partner Tara and son Revan, and niece Susan Mishou and children Casey, Christopher, Madelyn. Family and friends are invited to call 4-6pm, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St. Old Town, ME 04468. A service will be held at 6pm, immediately following the calling hours, with Rev. Steve Smith, Officiating. A celebration of life will be held at Tim and Kim's at the Pushaw Lake Campground following the service.
