Josh attended Bangor schools where he was a standout athlete. In addition to being on the swim team, Josh was an avid football player and loved playing on his school teams. He was also the winner of multiple state titles as a member of the Bangor schools cross-country teams. After his school years, Josh became a very hardworker- at times juggling three jobs. He worked for multiple construction companies over the years, but he was most proud of his achievement to a management position at a rehabilitation home. Josh spent countless hours volunteering his time working with recovering addicts to help them through difficult times.
Family was everything to Josh. As a son, a brother, and fun and crazy uncle- Josh was loving and fiercely loyal to his family. Josh was fearless and protective of those he loved. As a friend, Josh would be the first one to give the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. He loved telling jokes to anyone who would listen. Josh had a creative and free spirit, and he was passionate about the things he loved. The only thing he asked for in return was the same love and acceptance he offered in return.
Josh was predeceased by his grandfathers, Delwin Hanson and Charles Mower; his little niece, Scarlett; his uncle, Edmund Boucher; and his dear friend, John “Bobbi” Surles.
Josh is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Jane and Bill Arbuckle; his big brother and protector, Christopher Pelkey and his fiancée, Andrea; his loving sister, Amber Perry and her husband, Qasey; and his little brother, Adam Allen; Aunt Theresa Perkins and her husband Orrie, Uncle Tim Hanson; He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, whom he adored, Landyn Pelkey, Madelina Pelkey, Caleigh Marsh and Beckham Perry; his grandmother, Alfreda Mower; his aunt, Laurie Elwell; his uncles, Brian Hanson and Scott Mannke; and Josh’s special buddy, Kaden.
