He looked forward every year to his golfing trip with his "golf buddies," who would play in Canada and Northern Maine. It truly was a joy for him to take a week off with all of them and he took many, many pictures. He was featured in the Bangor Daily News for his hole-in-one at Hermon Meadows Golf Club. He loved taking pictures of all of his family at our family events. For many years he used to develop his own pictures in a dark room he had built. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
