OLD TOWN--Jerry W. Gauthier, 73, died peacefully November 5, 2020 at home with his wife and daughters by his side. Jerry was born August 12, 1947 in Old Town a son of Amos J. and Sylvia M (Jameson) Gauthier.
Jerry attended Old Town schools before enlisting in the US Army and serving 1964-1967. Following his discharge, he worked at S&O’K Bottling (1967-1969) then went to work at the Old Town Paper Mill, retiring form Old Town Fuel and Fiber in 2014. His greatest joys were having his grandchildren around, fishing at Schoodic Lake, and having family and friends at his pool.
Jerry is survived by his wife Debbie (Monk) Gauthier; two daughters Michelle Drinkwater and her husband Chris and Melissa Lloyd and her husband Mark; four grandchildren Dylan and Jared Drinkwater and Kyla and Kenzie Lloyd; brother Jim Gauthier, sisters-in-law Karen Smith and Sue Gauthier; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Dale Gauthier.
