OLD TOWN-George Joseph St. Peter passed away peacefully at his home on Sept. 4th, 2022, at the age of 83. He was born on April 27th, 1939, in Old Town to Rudolph St. Peter and Irma Debien St. Peter.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carol King St. Peter and his brother Arthur (Butch) St. Peter. He is survived by his son, Paul St. Peter of Austin, Texas, his daughter Monica Pollard of Pittsfield, Maine, his son Matthew and wife Martha of Goffstown, NH, and his daughter, Maria Sappier of Manchester, New Hampshire and his stepchildren, Heather-Jo Doucette, Beverly Pawlendzio, Edward King II, Mark King and George King (Deceased).
George had eight grandchildren, Chelsy St. Peter and husband Samuel, Ashley St. Peter and partner, Sebastian, Jocelynn Jackson and husband, David, Raquel Eliasen and husband, Nicholas, Lauren Gallant and husband, Ryan, Taylor St. Peter-Gagnon and her husband Tyler, Erik Sappier and wife Esther, Gavin Sappier and his fiancé, Jessica Whitmore, 12 great-grandchildren as well as 7 step grandchildren, Matthew, Tristin, Dominick, Jennifer, Erica, Cody and Brandon. George is also survived by his sister Theresa Michaud and husband, Gordon, Valerie Jamieson and husband, Steven and sister-in-law, Mary St. Peter. He is survived by his nephew, Ed Michaud and two nieces, Angela Roach and Suzette Johnson. The family wishes to give special thanks to Vicky Richards for her special friendship with George.
George was a loyal friend and will be missed by many. He had a talent for making people laugh. His children and grandchildren will continue to reminisce about so many funny stories and great memories.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 9th, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Church, Old Town immediately followed by a private burial with immediate family only. Friends and family are welcome attend a reception at the Old Town Elk’s Club after the burial at 12:00 PM.
