He was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 78'. Eric worked at the Old Town Mill for a number of years doing various positions. He also did woodworking and electrical.
Eric loved music! He traveled near and far to music shops. He was known for his talent on bass guitar, and his amazing voice. He loved his bands and his "Brothers" he shared this passion with. Frank and Larry were always there to jam. He actively ran sound for other musicians, and was lead in managing his granddaughter Alexis. He was so proud of her.
Eric loved The Beatles, Raiders Football, his summers as a child in Jackson NH with Hazel, Chemo Pond, his cat Clyde, his visors, musical equipment and tools.
Eric lived for his family, always there for his siblings, children, granddaughter and best friends.
Eric was predeceased by his parents, Daniel L. King Jr and Jean M. O'Brien King. He is survived by his daughter Sarah Legare and her husband Nate; son Daniel King, granddaughter Alexis Loring, siblings Dawn Trimm, Kelley King, and Trent King, and special friends Joe Spinney, Larry Thibodeau, and Frank Loring Jr., several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Hall, 20 Water St. Old Town on March 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm
