Douglas Paul Adams

Douglas was born in Millinocket on May 25, 1939, to Pearley and Margaret Adams. He was a US Army Veteran. He was employed by Great Northern Paper as a storeroom clerk from which he retired. He was proud to be from Millinocket and loved to reminisce about Millinocket, the mill and Little Italy. Doug enjoyed being at his camp with lamb feeds and his many trips to Boston for baseball games with his friends and Uncles. He was a huge fan of John Wayne.

He enjoyed spending time with his Aunt Betty (now deceased) helping her to bake Italian Cookies and listening to big band music with her.

Doug will be greatly missed by his cousin Mike who took care of him, along with the staff at BVH. He leaves behind his wife, Paula, many nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his daughter, Melissa Adams and his parents, Pearley and Margaret Adams and Sister, Virginia Adams.

A Graveside services with be held in the Millinocket cemetery on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 12:00PM
