Old Town- Constance Mary (Doucette) Ogden, 82, joined her husband, Norman, on the 3rd anniversary of his passing on September 16, 2018. Constance was born February 9, 1936, in Old Town, the daughter of Leo and Doris (Blanchard) Doucette.
Constance retired from LaBree's Bakery after 30+ years of service. She loved her family and is survived by her four daughters, Catherine Metivier and her husband, Philip, Jeannette Bernard and husband, Randy, Peggy Severance and fiancé, Gene Babcock, Donna Hesseltine and husband, Richard; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Amanda, Ryan, Sarah, Nicole, Adam, and Kelsey; 14 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Rylee, Grace, Madylin, Caleb, Emily, Gus, Jack, Isabelle, Francis, Sadie, Matthew, Savannah, and soon to be great-granddaughter Metivier. She also leaves two sisters, Rose Cote and Charlene Jackson; two brothers, Edward and Francis. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 61 years; a brother, Joseph; and sister, Gloria Stevens.
Friends may call, September 20, 2018, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town, from 4-7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, September 21, Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Church. Burial will be at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. All are invited to return to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Donations may be made in Constance's memory to the American Cancer Society and Alzheimer's Association.
