Old Town - Christopher Scott Dionne, 60, died peacefully March 21, 2020, following a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born December 6, 1959, in Bangor the son of Ronald and Faith (Brangwynne) Dionne.
Chris graduated from Old Town High School in 1978 and attended the University of Maine, Presque Isle. In his youth, Chris was active at the Old Town YMCA, was president of the newly formed Leaders Club and was honored the "Boy of the year Award" in 1972. Chris was a finish carpenter by trade. His hobbies included working in his yard, woodworking on crafts, and spending time on the coast of Maine camping and kayaking.
He is survived by his parents; sister Deborah Gott and her husband Edward; his significant other Deborah Hambrock; aunts Gladys Marie Tardiff, Faye Ann Macomber and her husband Gerald; niece Betsy Follansbee and her husband Fred; nephews Ted Gott and his wife Nina, Tom Gott and his wife Anna; and many cousins.
Chris was predeceased by his loving grandparents Harold and Mary Brangwynne, Leo and Evelyn Dionne, his beloved dog Smokey and cat Lucky.
