Old Town—Bruce Michael Trask, 60, died September 3, 2018 at a Bangor hospital following a three year battle with Glioblastoma. He was born February 9, 1958 in Old Town a son of Luther and Joyce (Stratton) Trask.
Bruce graduated from Old Town High School class of 1976, where he pitched for the baseball team. He was a lifelong painter and carpenter and enjoyed painting and working on the large estate buildings along the Maine coast. Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, especially fishing Abol along the West Branch of the Penobscot.
He is survived by two children William Trask of Rockland and Rachel Southworth of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; mother Joyce Trask of Bradley; seven siblings Connie Albanese of Milford, Tim Trask of Old Town, Keith Trask and his wife Faith of Oneida, NY, Robert Trask and his wife Jane of Albany, GA, Betsy Brooks and her husband Ricky of Orono, Eric Trask and his wife Barbara of Milford and Tracy Thompson and her fiancé Matt Doak of Hampden; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Luther Trask and brothers John and Byron Trask.
