MILLINOCKET—Annie Mabel (Trott) Bouchard, 104, passed away July 19, 2022 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born October 5, 1917 in East Winn, Maine a daughter of Ivan and Velma (Hanscomb) Trott.
She was raised in Lincoln. She married Ludger Victor Bouchard in 1937 and together they raised five children and owned and operated Bouchard’s Shoe Store in Madawaska and later in Millinocket. She was a communicant of St. Martin’s Catholic Church, Millinocket and a longtime member of the Daughter’s of Isabella. She enjoyed playing Bingo, golfing, ballroom dancing and traveling. Upon retirement, she and Ludger joined the snowbirds, spending winters in Zephyrhills, FL and summering at Ambejejus Lake. After Ludger’s passing in 2002, Annie once again made Millinocket her home. In later years, she stayed close to the Trott family through many nieces and nephews.
Annie is survived by a son Richard Bouchard and his wife Eileen of Livonia, MI; two daugters Sharon Picard of Bradley, ME and Beverly Montgomery and her husband John of Nekoosa, WI; daughter-in-law Heidi Bouchard of Clinton, MD and son-in-law Jeffrey Neal of Millinocket. She will be greatly missed by nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren who will carry on her legacy.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Edward Bouchard, daughter Linda Neal, grandson Brian Bouchard; brothers Bertrand, Vinyl, Reginald, Lloyd, and Robert and sisters Irene Webster, Charlotte Nichols, and Eleanor Blanchard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday July 26, 2022 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby Street, Millinocket. Interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery.
