Peter Thomas Grief, 48, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2020. Peter grew up in Ivoryton, CT and settled in Deep River, CT. Peter worked in the marina industry for over 30 years, and loved being on the water. Peter enjoyed the outdoors, working in the yard, building stone walls, and hunting. Fishing was his passion and he shared his knowledge and love with his daughter, Nicole, whom he adored and was very proud of. Peter was very quick witted and his humour never failed to make someone laugh.
Peter is survived by his daughter, Nicole Grief and her mother, Christine Miller of Deep River, CT. His mother, Cheryl Grief, of Ivoryton, CT. His brother, Kevin Grief (Misty), of Deep River, CT. Peter is predeceased by his father, Stanley (Butch) Grief.
Funeral arrangements will be private, with a celebration of life to be planned in the distant future.
