Linda Ward 77 of Westbrook passed away at home while in the company of her family. Linda was born in Somerset Massachusetts in 1946. She was the youngest of 5 children and the only girl. Her early life was spent in Massachusetts and she carried her accent proudly throughout her travels. She lived in many states but always found her way to the beach. She would often take her lunch at the beach so she could enjoy the sun and sand year round. She loved reading and puzzles and politics but loved her children and grandchildren most of all. She was proudest when recounting their successes. She had an amazing ability to make people laugh. She was always willing to share her opinions and perceptions. Right or wrong, she always spoke her mind. Linda is survived by her three children John, Jill and Jenny, their partners, her grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a future date.
