Donald A. Danielson

Donald Danielson passed away peacefully at his home on December 14, 2020 at the age of 92. Don was born in New Rochelle, N.Y. on December 1, 1928.and was the son of Grace and Maxwell Danielson. He graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1946 and from St. Lawrence University in 1950.

Don proudly served his country and was a Korean War Veteran, 623rd Fa Bn-1951, his unit awarded 3 battle citations. Don served on the Tarrytown Board of Education for 7 years and the Board of Governors of Old Lyme Country Club for 7 years.

Don leaves his caring and loving wife Karen of Old Saybrook, 3 daughters, Lori and husband Glenn Shannon of Tiburon, Ca, Phyllis of Charleston, S.C., Kara and husband Scott Dillon do Wayzata, MN and step-daughter, Kelly Kimball of New York City. He leaves 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His legacy, a special loving family and a lifetime of many, many friends.
