She was born on September 27, 1944, in Middletown, CT, the daughter of Serafino and Norma (Pratt) Pandiani.
She was a loving and most caring wife of Frederick for 52 years; terrific "Mom" of Michael, David, and Holly; loving grandmother of Tyler Muszynski, and Jared Atwell; and two loving daughter-in-laws, Debra and Krista Atwell.
A graduate of Durham High School, and a original four year cheerleader of the legendary Wally Camp's Durham High Blue Devils basketball team.
Brenda was a extremely talented and professional florist for over 30 years in Old Saybrook. Brenda worked numerous post retirement floral commitments with her dear friend Christine Perry, including flowers for the Connecticut Special Olympics attended by President Clinton.
She enjoyed many great times with ongoing "Ladies Night Group" for over 30 years, where many special friendships still flourish today.
Brenda and Fred enjoyed several trips to Bermuda visiting friends, golfing trips to Florida, North and South Carolina, as well as a special visit to Augusta National for "The Masters".
Brenda was a very enthusiastic follower of the PGA Tour and a die hard Green Bay Packer fan.
Her true passion in life was her family and the pride and joy of her grandsons. Celebrating birthdays on the deck, Christmas Eve gatherings, her famous home made "Chex Mix" and "Fun Friday's".
Brenda was Fred's high school sweetheart, as well and his rock.... "A friend to all and an enemy to none."
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 2nd, from 4-7pm at Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook, CT. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to her favorite charity may be made to the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation, 187 Williams St., New London, CT 06320.
