Very sad to hear this. Sal was the navigator on several of my trips when we were in the Navy together. Sal was a fine gentleman.

Mary Ellen, Matt & David, we (Flora and Paula & family) are so very saddened by your loss.  Sal was such a nice man- so funny and talented!  We have enjoyed so many great times together, and he will be missed.  I wish I could give you a big hug, Mary Ellen- you have been and are now in our prayers.

When I think of Sal, I have nothing but wonderful memories of our 727 flying and layovers together.    Sal made every trip fun.   
My deepest condolences go out to his family.    May he find eternal peace. 

Sal was upbeat and enthusiastic;  a wonderful guy to be around and fly with.   I am grateful our paths crossed.  My condolences to his family.

I had many wonderful trips with Sal with Northeast and Delta.
He was always a gentleman who took good care of his crew,
and kept us laughing.
I know he will be sadly missed 

I had the pleasure of knowing Sal for a short period of time when I started with Northeast Airlines. He was a very sweet man and sad to hear about his passing. May he be at peace. 

Sal was my Gumba at NEA.
 All we ever talked about was our families Italian cooking sharing   time together.
He , like all the NEA guys , will be missed by me.
