Rosemary A. Foley

Village at South Farms, Middletown and currently of The Hearth in

Southbury, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital.

Mrs. Foley was born on October 23, 1926 in Springfield, MA the

daughter of Frederick and Mary Kenny Hearn. She married Bartholomew Foley on

April 26, 1947 in Springfield. He predeceased her on May 4, 2008.

Over her life she had worked at various places, for her assisting her

husband in his business for 20 years, the Nearly New Shop in Old Lyme, and the

Eastern States Farmers Exchange in MA.

The couple lived in various areas throughout the country including

Alden, NY, Lansing MI, Prairie Village, KS, Muscatine IA, and Enfield

CT, before moving to Old Lyme CT in the early 70’s.

A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Foley is survived by her two sons

Michael Foley of Westbrook, CT and Timothy Foley of Killingworth, CT

her two daughters Mary Ann Colbert of Roxbury, CT and Kayte Foley of

Holden, MA, her 10 Grandchildren and 6 great-Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at

10:00am in Christ the King Church, Old Lyme. Interment will follow in

Duck River Cemetery in Old Lyme. Calling Hours will be held on

Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00pm in Fulton-Theroux
