Richard was born on July 6, 1945 in Hartford Connecticut, the son of Harold and Frances (Faust) Dressler. He married Daphne Condaras, daughter of Gus and Nikki Condaras in November of 1967 in Mamaroneck, NY.
He served honorably in the US Army. He worked for many years as an accountant and executive for United Technologies Corporation, Zygo and Aetna.
Richard loved his wife unconditionally and was her devoted caregiver until his death. He loved his sons and grandkids. Aside from visiting with family, Richard enjoyed Uconn basketball and Connecticut Sun games. He loved spending summers at White Sands Beach and enjoyed eating lobster and crabs as often as he could.
Richard will be missed tremendously. He is survived by his wife Daphne, sons Michael, Peter, Jeffrey and his loving brother Don Dressler.
