Old Lyme- Paul Vargo departed this life unexpectedly April 1, 2015.
Mr. Vargo was born in Bonham, NJ. He served his country proudly in Italy with the 88th Division of the Blue Devils during WWII. Upon returning t New Jersey, he started working at Nixon Baldwin Chemical where he eventually was promoted to plant maintenance supervisor.
Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as gardening and of course every Green Bay Packers game.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Marjorie of Old Lyme and his two daughters, Karen and Kathi of All Claire Wisconsin and many grandchildren.
A military memorial service will be held at a later date.
