Patricia McCarthy

Old Lyme- Patricia, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on January 24, 2019 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital. Patricia was predeceased by her husband; Maurice “Bud” McCarthy, her parents; Beatrice “Parsons” Wagner and John Wagner Sr of Clinton, CT, as well as her brothers Michael, John Jr, and Richard Wagner. Patricia is survived by her son Michael D. McCarthy Sr, her grand-children Michael D. McCarthy Jr and wife Elizabeth, Carrie McCarthy, and Nicholas McCarthy, as well as her two great-grandchildren Mason and Myla and many other family members. Patricia spent her life dedicated to the Town of Old Lyme Government, as Registrar of Voters, as well as volunteering for many political events. Patricia was also a long-standing member of the Old Lyme Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Calling hours for Patricia will be held this Friday, February 1st at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home on Beckwith Lane in Old Lyme from 4pm-7pm. A Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 9am at Christ the King Church on McCurdy Road. Burial will be private.
