Elizabeth (Liz) was born on June 17, 1946 in England, the daughter of John and Maude Duck. She married Ray Browne on January 2, 1972 in Bridport, England. Liz and Ray moved from the UK to the USA in 1978. Liz always enjoyed her peaceful and uncontroversial life in Old Lyme and will be sadly missed.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Ray, her two sons Roger Browne of Scotland, CT and James Browne of Niantic and two grandchildren Ethan Browne and Isabel Browne.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00am in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme, CT 06371. Interment will follow in Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme.
