Middletown - Diane Eleanor Varley, 71, of Katherine Rd., Old Lyme, died Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Middlesex Hospital.
Diane was born on June 30, 1942 in New London the daughter of M. Henry and Ramona Cole. Her husband Melvin Varley predeceased her on December 26, 1999.
The one thing she loved most was simple road trips up and down the East Coast & New England. Her family will miss those trips.
Diane is survived by her daughter Amy Lippincott and her husband Richard of Old Lyme, son Duane A. Varley and his wife Laura Lee of Upton, MA and grandchildren Emily Varley and Brodie Lippincott.
