Carol Lillian Brining

Carol was born on April 21, 1938 in White Plains, NY the daughter of Carl and Eve Warner. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Drew University in 1960. She married Richard Brining in 1965 in White Plains, NY. She was employed for over 20 years as a Research Biologist for Cebra Geigy Chemical Corp.

As a longtime resident of Old Lyme, CT she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bridge with friends, traveling, being involved in the church, visiting the beach, horseback riding, sailing, swimming and many times just relaxing with a good book.

Carol is survived by her loving husband Richard, her son Jeff and wife Lisa Brining of East Haddam and two grandchildren, Christopher and Ashley.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00am in First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Beckwith Ln., Old Lyme.
