Tina is survived by her son, Jeff (Summer) Barton; grandson Brayden Barton; granddaughter Brooklyn Barton; mother, Margaret Nell Akines; sister , Ramona (Dave) Riling; nieces, Rachel (Mike) Sokoloff, Lindsay (Rick) Mulholland; nephews David Cherry and Austin Welker; Bill (Amber) Akines III, Chris (Erin) Riling, Jason(Josette), Mike(Heather); great-nieces, Bridgette Sokoloff, Ellie Mulholland, and Zoe Mulholland, Jhayce Cherry , Maggie Akines, Kelsey Gregory; great-nephews, Cooper Akines, Sawyer Akines, TJ Gregory, Jayme Gregory, Cameron Gregory, Khayson Cherry, Avery Walker; ; her sister-in-law, Loretta Adams Mullins; extended family, Ray (Elecia) Adcock, Ernestine Mosher, Jimmy Mosher, Bill Frizzell, and an abundance of other family members.
Tina began her life September 28, 1957 almost a preemie, with a determination to live. She was small, but mighty, simple, but complicated. As number 3 of the “Cherry” girls, she had a survival mentality that carried her through to the end, having had several health issues throughout her life. Tina will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her family draws comfort in knowing that she knew our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Tina will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison with a family graveside service on Thursday.
