Shirley was a devoted Mother and Grandmother that made a difference in the lives of everyone she met.
Shirley was preceded in death by Roel B. Nabors,with whom she served in Christian ministry for over 25 years.
Shirley is survived by son, Jonathan Nabors (Angelia); son, Sherwyn Nabors (Kimberly Walker); daughters, Melissa Nabors Guthrie (Brad) and Melinda Nabors Davenport (Barry); brothers R.L., Archie, Elbert and Roger Kuyrkendall; sister, Patsy Packer; ten grandchildren, thirteen Great-Grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service for Shirley will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Trevecca Community Church, 335 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37210.
Visitation will be held immediately after until 12 pm Saturday.
Interment will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, with Pallbearers, Parker & Jordan Guthrie, Kirk Nabors, Jonathan Darcy, Michael Sully Sullivan, Brett Whitmore and Paul Witte serving. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Kyle Nabors and Cecil R. Nabors.
