Sarah Jean Scott, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee passed peacefully to her eternal heavenly home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the tender age of 38. She is preceded in death by her father, Morris Wayne Adcock; her grandmother, Carol Vincent; and grandfather, Hoyte Black Sr.
Sarah is survived by son, Corbin Scott; mother, Shirley Black; sister, Jessica (spouse: Josh Cannon); brother, Dustin; life-partner, Brad Allen Cathey; her niece, McKenzie, nephew, Jaxson; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Sarah could light up the room with just a smile in a matter of seconds. The greatest love of her life was her son Corbin. Sarah was passionate about education and her relationship with Christ. She was a faithful member of Generation Changers Church in Nashville, TN where she enjoyed volunteering her time to work with kids. Her laugh and smile will be greatly missed but we will still laugh in and cherish the heartfelt memories we have of her.
A celebration of life for Sarah will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, there will be a gathering of family & friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
