Sara A. Cloar, age 94, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Sara was born January 7, 1927 in Paris, Tennessee to her parents, Toy C. and Annie M. Smith Cloar, who predecease her.
Sara was a Supervisor of the computer tape library for the State of Tennessee. She was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Anti-Can't Class and the Esther Circle. Sara enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, the Atlanta Braves, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
Sara is survived by her daughter Cindy C. (Mark) Tibbs; her three grandchildren Joseph (Erica) Tibbs, Megan (Nicholas) Given, Sarah Marie (Colten) Morris; and by her two great-grandchildren Jakub Tibbs and Madilyn Given.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 10:00 AM in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Following the Celebration of Life, Sara will be entombed in her final resting place at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
