He was born on February 6, 1952, in Madison, Tennessee, the son of the late Thomas and Opal Breeden. He worked many years as a dump truck driver for Jones Brothers. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his cat.
In addition to his parents, Sammy is preceded in death by his nephew, Scott Polk.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mary Nell Breeden; niece, Michelle Lewis; great-niece, Aspen Lewis, and his cat, Clementine.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Mount Juliet Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
