MATHISON, Roxie age 95 of Nashville, February 11, 2011. Survived by sons, James T. (Sandy) Mathison, William R. (Vickie) Mathison; grandchildren, Christopher Aldridge, James, Billy, Christopher, Jesse, Mathison; great grandchildren, Chloe and Teagan Mathison; brothers, Jack and Bob Fleming. Mrs. Mathison was a past executive director of the Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce and President of Business and Professional Women. Star Spangled Salute honoree, Exchange CLub Book of Golden Deeds honoree, Metro Council and Mayors award for 34 years of service, Lifetime Achievement Award and honored as Personality of the south. Funeral service to be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 16, 2011 at Lincoya Hills Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Henry officiating, interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday at Hermitage Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
