Rita, I will miss your smile and the way you brightened everyone's day. You always exercised patience and pleasantness, and you are a great teammate and friend. I'll miss the conversations we used to have and laughs we shared over the years. It brings comfort to know that your suffering is over, I just wish you were still here. I pray for you and your family; it is an honor to call you a friend of mine.

   Rita and her family have been in my thoughts and prayers since the discovery of her illness. What a kind and gentle person she was to everyone. I can still hear her saying "enjoy" as we announced we were leaving for break or lunch. Hearing of her passing is a Great loss to us all.

Rita, my sister, my friend you came into my life 40+ years ago and we became so close. We have shared many good times as well as a few sad times but we were there for each other. You will always be forever in my heart. I will always remember you for your love of animals, love of reading and the amazing son you brought into this world. May you be in in peace now. I worked with Rita thru TSA. I have fond memories of her ready smile and laugh, and her love of books. Spent many hours at work talking about books and swapping them out with her. My heart is heavy for her family and close friends as they walk through this time of sorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I will miss you Rita.

The world was a better place with Rita in it, she was always sincere in heart and action.  We all would like to go through life making a difference in the lives of others, Rita made a difference in many. Joe, may you and your family find comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Rita was the woman I wanted to be when I grew up. Always kind and caring. She was so brave and honest, I always felt better knowing she was my friend and she inspired me to try to be better.
