Ricky Eugene Bunch

Ricky Eugene Bunch, aka Big Daddy, aka Tricky Ricky, went to be with his beloved wife, Linda and the Lord Thursday, June 18, 2020. Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Moore Bunch and mother, Delores Green Bunch. He is survived by his father, Eugene Bunch, son, Jason (Missy) Bunch, daughter, Shana (John) Cantrell, adoring grandchildren Trey Cantrell, Sarah Grace Bunch and Garrett Bunch, sisters Lori (Jeff) Bradley, Kathy Hughes, and brother Steve Bunch and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bunch will be held at Eleven O’clock on the morning Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Hermitage Funeral Home in Old Hickory, TN. Friends are cordially invited to visitation from Six O’clock to Eight O’clock on the evening of Tuesday, June 23,2020 at Hermitage Funeral Home in Old Hickory, TN.

Ricky was born in Rossville, Georgia and moved to Nashville with his parents in 1964 where he met the love of his life, Linda Moore, and they raised two wonderful children together and were absolutely the best mom, dad, and grandparents anyone could have.

Ricky worked with his dad in the bridge construction business and became manager for various construction companies; although, his favorite jobs were being “Big Daddy” to his grandchildren, and doing magic shows and dressing like Santa for children. He was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and volunteered with Linda in many activities there. Ricky was a special man and all that knew him loved him. He is now in the presence of our Lord and at peace. Rest well, dear Ricky, until we meet again. We love you, Dad.
