Regina Ann Melton, age 88 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born May 8, 1926 in Nashville, TN to Orlando & Josephine Conquest who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Dorset "Shorty" Melton and a daughter, Regina Gayle Lane.
Mrs. Melton was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ann Cundiff, Ada Oliphant, Donna Jo Melton and Teresa Raines.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted 12:00 noon Monday, August 18, 2014 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Father Mark Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 4:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
