Phillip D. Clark was born on November 8, 1948 in Canton Ohio and passed away on February 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Hobart Clark, mother Sybil Kirby and step-father Charles Kirby. He is survived by his wife Janice Clark, son Phillip Darrell Clark II and Shannon, grandson Phillip Darrell Clark III, aunt Claudine Capshaw, brother-in-law James Flemy and Joyce, sister-in-law Joann Watlington and Jeff and 6 nieces and nephews. He was a class of 1966 graduate of Dupont High School and attended Cumberland University receiving an Associates of Science degree in 1968. He worked for the E. I. Dupont Company for 30 years retiring because of health reasons. He was an avid golfer and collector of many things. He was married for 52 years to his beloved Janice Clark and lived most of his life in Old Hickory, TN. He loved 50's and 60's music and his car's. The joy of his life was his son and grandson who were all New York Yankee fan's. Talk of the Yankees were their greatest fun. He had many great friends over the years to play golf and to enjoy life with. Goodbye sweet papa. There will be a graveside service on Saturday February 6 at 11 am in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
